Mary LeNoir Lindler, 92, of Rembert, wife of the late Otis Gordon Lindler, died Monday at her home. Born on February 28, 1919 in Hagood, she was the daughter of John Isham and Mary Ellerbe LeNoir.

Mrs. Lindler was a 1940 graduate of Winthrop College. She taught in the public schools of Belton and Hartsville, SC and retired as a civil service employee from Shaw Air Force Base. She was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Hagood, where she served on the vestry and was a past president of the Episcopal Church Women.

She is survived by three sons, Bill Lindler and his wife Caroline of Rembert, Dick Lindler and his wife Donna of Roebuck and Gordon Lindler, Jr. of the home; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren one sister, Louise Brabham of Dalzell. She was predeceased by one brother, Elliott LeNoir of Hagood.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Hagood with Reverend Charles Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends at the home and following the service in the church’s Parish House.
