Willard was affectionately known by many as he was born and lived his entire life in Camden. He always had a smile to share and hug to give! Willard enjoyed his work and friends at DuPont; he was retired after 38 years of service. He was a member of Malvern Hill Baptist Church and participated in several mission trips as well as enjoyed pitching for the church softball team. Willard was active in the Camden-Lugoff Area Shag Society (C.L.A.S.S.) He loved music and dancing with his wife, Linda. They were part of an elite group of shaggers who represented the dance at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Willard enjoyed family vacations which included camping up and down the Eastern Seaboard when his children were young. Willard’s infectious smile greeted everyone. He was a servant leader and will be missed by all who knew him. If you would like to make donations in his memory, please donate to Malvern Hill Baptist Church.
