No one loved more deeply than Nellie Creed.  Her children and grandchildren knew they were unconditionally loved.  She loved her Lord and her church and was a faithful member of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church for over 59 years.

Her house was full of love, comfort and wonderful cooking smells.  She saw the absurd and the humor of everyday life, and loved to laugh and hear other people laugh.  She didn’t care for fancy clothes, social status or other signs of material success.  She cared for her family’s health and happiness and loved all deeply.  The world has lost a truly kind heart.

She leaves behind her three children and their spouses:  son, Robert Alvin Creed and daughter-in-law, Susan Goetchious Creed; son, Richard Smyrl Creed and daughter-in-law Joan Mims Creed; and daughter, Nellie Anne Creed. She leaves behind six grandchildren:  Daniel Alvin Creed (wife: Donna), Ellen Creed Branham (husband: Forrest), Marie Creed Ingle (husband: Mark): Mims Creed Goza (husband: Andy), Tucker Smyrl Creed (wife: Mary Beth), Madeleine Anne Giess, and 6 great grandchildren.
