Memorial service to celebrate the life of Percy William Bronson, 71, of Lugoff will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Camden, SC. Rev. Bruce Hancock and Rev. Joe Stines will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, September 16, 2013 from 6-7:30 p.m. in Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mr. Bronson’s memory to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 1201 Broad Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Mr. Bronson, husband of Nevada Haynes Bronson, died Friday, September 13, 2013. Born in Empire, MI., he was the son of the late Percy J. and Ellen Rose Zeigler Bronson. He was a US Air Force veteran, a member of the VFW and the J. Leroy Belk American Legion Post 17. Mr. Bronson graduated from Glen Lake High School in Empire Michigan. He was retired from DuPont and was a member and former deacon of First Baptist Church in Camden.

Surviving beside his wife; son, Kevin Bronson (Bette) of Rock Hill; daughter, M. Denise Burton (Neil) of Clemson; grandchildren, Ben and Tatum Rose Bronson, Connor, Grace Ellen, Mary Claire and Ian Burton.

He was predeceased by a sister Mary Bronson and a brother George Bronson.
