Funeral services to celebrate the life of Randy Bruce Sanders, 65, of Camden will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM in First Baptist Church in Camden, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at Kornegay Funeral Home Camden Chapel.

Randy died Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Born in Clinton, SC, he was the son of the late Grover and Rachel Webb Sanders. He was a graduate of Furman University and retired from the SC Highway Patrol. Randy later served as a substitute teacher with the Kershaw County School District and was a member of First Baptist Church in Camden. Randy was an active member of IPTAY, a longtime Clemson Tiger fan and known by his family and friends as “Mr. Clemson.”
He is survived by his wife, Mandy Mathis Sanders; mother-in-law, Jo Ann R. Mathis; stepchildren, Nathan and Natalie Martin and special cousins, Geri Hurley (Jimmy) of Salisbury, NC and Peggy Gilmer (Riley) of Clinton, SC.
