Regina (Jean) M Saba, 94, widow of James E Saba, passed away peacefully in her home on May 19, 2016 in Camden, SC. A private ceremony was officiated by Father John Zimmerman on May 23, 2016. Jean was born in Wilkes Barre, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Veronica Kaszkiel.

Jean worked and managed the Proctor Hall Thrift Shop for over 30 years. She was an avid bowler and friends lovingly gave her the nickname “The Old Fart.” Jean loved catering weddings and private parties; playing Bridge; and crocheting many afghans and scarves for family, friends and shut-ins. Jean was a member of the Camden Shrine Ladies Auxiliary and a Lifetime member of the South Carolina Women’s Bowling Association.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jean was preceded in death by 1 brother and 6 sisters. She is survived by her son Larry J. Saba of Camden; many nieces and nephews; and her extended family Karen and Greg Davenport of Camden, their children Zach Davenport of Camden and Brittney McCaskill (Josh) of Rembert.
