Funeral services to celebrate the life of Rose Ellen Price Parker, 90, of Camden, were held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rev. Taylor Wells officiated. Memorials may be made in memory of Rose to the A. Sam Karesh Long Term Care, 1315 Roberts Street, Camden, SC 29020 or to the charity of one’s choice.

Rose, widow of Farrell Leroy Parker, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Born in Lugoff, she was the daughter of the late Jeff Davis Price, Sr. and Callie Freeman Price. Rose was a homemaker and loved her family. She was a member of Wateree Baptist Church and believed in God’s Promises. Love defined her life.  

Rose is survived by her granddaughter, Farrah Parker Croft; great-granddaughter, MiLee Croft; brothers and sisters, Jeff Price, Jr. (Shirley), Patricia Morton, Mechie Price (Frances) and Peggy Gunter (Lindsay) all of Camden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her son, Farrell Leroy Parker, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Henry Price, Mary P. Munn, Elwood Price, Don Price and Judy P. Stokes.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the caregivers at the Karesh Wing for their exceptional care given to Mrs. Parker during the past few years.
