Mrs. Sarah Peach Caskey, 85, of Lancaster, widow of Orall B. Caskey passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born August 4, 1927 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Broadus Peach and Emily Brannon Peach. Mrs. Caskey was a member of New Hope Baptist Church since October, 1958. She loved her church and was very active in various ministries. Mrs. Caskey also served for 10 years as a volunteer at Springs Memorial Hospital and was retired from Springs Industries.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Caskey will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 2 pm at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Patrick Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Caskey is survived by one son, Gussie Sutton and his wife Brenda of Lugoff; one daughter, Dianne Altman Culp and her husband Gene of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Steven Wayne Sutton and his wife Jackie and Cindy Kelley and her husband Carl; five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lindsay, Huntley, Tyler and Sarah. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Peach.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Dianne Altman, 1819 Theron Circle, Lancaster.
