Thomas Brown Davis

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Thomas “Tom” Brown Davis, 74, of Camden will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Rev. Frank Griffith will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Davis died Monday, January 25, 2016. He was born in Elkin, NC and was the son of the late Clarence Roy and Irene Brown Davis. He was a graduate of UNC, Chapel Hill, NC. He was a former member of the North Carolina National Guard. He was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Tom's career included, a senior Sales Representative for the Republic Mortgage Insurance Company, spent years in sales and marketing, and moved to Camden in 2002 and was founder and owner of A Perfect Window. He was an avid fisherman, boater and a computer Guru and loved spending time with his family. Tom loved people and never met a stranger. 

Surviving are his wife of 37 years of Camden, formerly of Columbia, Deborah Hudson Davis, 3 daughters, Denise Browning Davis of Sumter; twins, Heather Davis Hoffmiester (John), of Orlando, FL. and April Davis Kaynor (Robert) of New Canaan, CT a son Thomas “Tye” Brown Davis, Jr. of Seattle, WA; a sister, Abbye Davis Gordon of Winnchester, VA, 5 grandchildren, Caroline, Dillon and Charles Davis of New Canaan, CT, Lindsay Kate Hoffmeister and Hunter Hoffmiester of Orlando, FL.
