Mrs. DeBruhl, widow of Curtis DeBruhl, died Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Orangeburg. Born in Rock Hill, she was the daughter of the late John George and Nina Roberts. She was a life long active member, until her illness limited her at Hermitage Baptist Church. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, aunt, mother-in-law and a friend to many. She particularly loved the dinners at her Lake Wateree home with family and friends.

Surviving are her sons, James L. (Jim) DeBruhl (Caren) of CA, John L. DeBruhl of Charleston, Stephen K. DeBruhl ( Lillian) of St. Matthews; grandchildren, Ray DeBruhl, Jennifer DeBruhl, Colin DeBruhl, Michelle Mathews, Doug DeBruhl, Kathy Lominac and Keith Lominac; great-grandchildren, Brian DeBruhl, Ashley Martin, Jacob Mathews, Meghan Mathews and Devon DeBruhl; great-great-granddaughter, Ava Martin. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Curtis Marvin DeBruhl and a brother, Ira Marvin Carlton.
