A memorial service to celebrate the life of William Sumter Reasonover, 84, of Camden will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the Service in the Family Life Center. Rev. David Weaver will officiate. Memorials may be made in Mr. Reasonover's memory to Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church, 1206 Lyttleton Street, Camden SC 29020.

Mr. Reasonover died Monday, January 23, 2012. Born in Camden, SC, he was the son of the late Marvin Mood and Olive Rhame Reasonover. He was an Clemson Alumni class of 1947, a member of the Blue Key and Tiger Brotherhood Organizations, and president of Wesley Foundation. He was a US Army veteran and attended US Army Forward Artillery Observer School in Ft. Bragg, NC during the Korean war. Mr. Reasonover worked in displaced persons camps in Austria and Berlin, Germany post World war II. He was a member of the Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church. He was past president of the Kiwanis Club.

Surviving are his nieces; Ann Hill (Derric) of Laurinburg, NC, Nancy Caughman (Jeff) of Leesville, and nephew Bill Reasonover of Waltersboro; sister-in-law Barbara Reasonover; 4 great nephews and 1 great niece; 1 great-great nephew. He was predeceased by a brother, Carl Reasonover and a cousin Francis Rhame.
