A memorial service to celebrate the life of Winifred Lee Willis Boudreau, age 89, of Holly Hills Farm in Cassatt, South Carolina will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Kornegay Chapel in Camden, South Carolina. The Reverend Taylor Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 1, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Boudreau’s name to the University of South Carolina Libraries, 1027 Barnwell Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29208.

Winifred died Thursday, January 24, 2019 on Hilton Head Island. Born in Edwardsville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Charles and Dorothy Harritt Willis. She graduated from Georgetown High School and the University of Louisville. She began her career at Olin Chemicals in Brandenburg, Kentucky. After the family move to Camden, South Carolina, she worked at Joseph Kershaw Academy in a number of capacities, the Kershaw County Fine Arts Center, and retired as administrative assistant and bookkeeper at A.P. Bowden Construction.

“Winnie” was an avid outdoorswoman who enjoyed fishing, golfing, and shooting sports. She loved gardening and birding. Winnie was a very talented artist; she also played the piano and was a master at jewelry design. She had a keen interest and eye for antiques and collectibles. She was a volunteer for various organizations thru the years, including The American Cancer Society. Winnie was devoted to her family and cherished spending time at the family beach home.

She is survived by her daughters Lynn Rispone of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Renee Sanders(Neil) of Allendale, South Carolina; grandchildren Christopher Reid(Kim) and Jennifer Rispone of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Kathryn Sanders and Sarah Sanders of Allendale, South Carolina; Kyle Miller (Rachel) of Sebastopol, California, Casey Miller and Kevin Miller of Spartanburg, South Carolina; great-grandchildren Connor Reid and Emily Reid, and great-great grandchild, AnnaClare Reid, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brothers, Charles L. Willis (Martha) of Dayton, Ohio, Richard E Willis (Janice) of Avon, Indiana, Larry C. Willis (Martha) of Crestview Hills, Kentucky, Paul A. Willis (Barbara) of Georgetown, South Carolina, Danny Joe Willis of Edwardsville, Indiana, and daughter in law, Colleen P. Miller of Spartanburg, South Carolina.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jean Claude Boudreau, son, Edward W. Miller, son-in-law, Andy Rispone, and her faithful dog, Greta.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
