The 20th Annual Camden/Kershaw County FireFest will be held at Camden’s City (Rhame) Arena on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 beginning at 9 a.m. This year’s event will kick off with the annual parade of fire trucks and emergency vehicles down Broad Street (starting at Rutledge Street) to the City Arena. With food, competitions, and demonstrations, the festivities should provide a day of family fun, Camden Fire Chief John Bowers said. The public will also get a sneak peak of the new City Arena as it nears completion, Bowers said.
