The Kershaw County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs (KCBD) held a banquet in December to honor the service of Ruby Thompson. Thompson has served the board for 35 years and is currently the lead service coordinator. “Over the years, she has been a strong advocate for people with disabilities in our county,” Thoyd Warren, KCBD executive director said.
