Some of South Carolina’s brightest young people, including Kershaw County 4-Hers, recently visited the state capital to meet with legislators and share the impact 4-H has had on their lives and their communities. South Carolina 4-H continues to teach and inspire young people to do great things. Speakers for the event were State Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman and Commissioner of Agriculture Hugh Weathers, whom are both alumni of 4-H. Members of the Kershaw County 4-H Horse Club and Kershaw Rabbit Club visited with Kershaw County Representatives Laurie Slade Funderburk and William Wheeler during the Legislative Day.
