There will be a 4H camp this summer at Camp Long in Aiken, S.C. The camp is for ages 8 to 14 and will take place from June 10 to 14.
Some of the opportunities that will take place at the camp include water activities such as swimming, canoeing, and paddle boats. There will also be nature hikes, team sports, nightly skits and games, and a dance and talent show.
The facilities at the camp include a recreational building, basketball court, baseball field, an 18-acre pond for swimming and canoeing, a team challenge course, a climbing wall, zip line, and hiking trails.
Those who register now will receive the 4H discount. The deadline for camp registration forms is April 12 for the 4H discount.
The membership fee is $10.00 to join 4H plus a $75.00 non-refundable camp registration fee.
Those interested can also apply for a summer camp scholarship which is only available for 4H members that register. Members must apply through the 4H office.
