FOOD FOR THE SOUL director Darlene Thomas holds the Les Paul guitar which has been signed by the current members of Lynyrd Skynyrd and will be raffled off on Friday, Dec. 27 during the course of that evening’s Food For the Soul benefit show at Baron’s Bar in Camden with all proceeds being turned over to Food For the Soul. Flanking Thomas are Camden guitar player Rusty Davis (left), owner of Davis and Sons Guitar Shop in Camden, and Robbie Wright, owner of Baron’s Bar.
At each city where they perform, Lynyrd Skynyrd has presented a new Les Paul guitar --- emblazoned with the seminal Southern rock group’s name --- to the local Shrine Club to raffle off with all the proceeds going to the band’s favorite charity, the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
