CamdenART, an affiliate organization of the Fine Arts Center (FAC) of Kershaw County will open its annual Honors Show and Sale today with a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Bassett Gallery. This year’s exhibition is entitled “From the Earth” and will feature the works of the winners of the CamdenART fall juried show along with other members of CamdenART. Exhibitors include Sasha Federer, Sam Compton, Jeremy Butler, Keith Tolen, Catherine (Cat) Coulter Lloyd, Michael Stegner, Arlene Hutcheson, Alice Brook, Allen Garland, Barbara Rowe, Norma Young, Tari Federer, Sharon Collings Licata, Dot Goodwin, Terry Newman, Patricia Johnstone, Jane Weaver, Carl Craighead, Scott Kearns, Sarah Jane Woolington, Linda Oberlander, Geri DeSousa and Mary Beth Woodall.
There will be a wide range of visual art for sale including jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography, sculptures and more. “From the Earth” will remain on display through June 16.
The public is invited to drop by the Bassett Gallery to enjoy the exhibition and perhaps make a purchase. The Bassett Gallery is open Monday through Friday during FAC business hours.
