Emily Houde, at left, one of Camden’s many accomplished artists is presenting an original work of art to the lucky winner of Chance Art. The winner will be drawn on Wednesday.
Even though Emily presently concentrates on portraiture she enjoys creating decorative accessories like this contemporary lamp and shade. The lamp base is a yellow ochre – glazed pot - with a hand painted shade done with acrylic, pen and ink on torn rice paper. The painting depicts a woodland motif of pine branches. The lamp is retail valued at $150.00 and can be seen at the Artists’ Attic studio at 930 Broad Street in Camden.. Will you be the winner?
