The National Society Daughters of the American Colonists goals are to be patriotic, historical and educational in honoring heritage. The national goals are accepting heritage to guide and strengthen the present and accepting our heritage by preparing for the unseen future. These goals are reflected by the State Society by giving scholarships to nursing students.The South Carolina State Society established a Nursing Scholarship Fund in the early 1980’s, during the administration of Eva Reinhard, State Regent, to help ease the financial burden incurred by nursing students.
