Camden visual artist Laurie McIntosh will open a new showing of work called “Beautiful Swimmers” at Stormwater Studios, 413 Pendleton St., in Columbia, on Feb. 27. The exhibit will run through March 8 with an opening reception Feb. 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. “Beautiful Swimmers” is a collection of more than a dozen, mostly large-format oil paintings in addition to a display of papier mâché life from the sea.
