The Camden Community Concert Band (CCCB) will present its spring concert this Sunday, May 5 at 3 p.m. at Rectory Square Park. The concert is free and open to the public.

The CCCB is in its 39th year of presenting music to the Camden and Kershaw County area. The band has four concerts per year -- two in Rectory Square and two at Camden High School. The band is lead by conductor B.J. Brazier.

Some concert highlights include “Themes Like Old Times II,” a piece commissioned for the CCCB by Warren Barker and conducted by CCCB Associate Conductor Robert Wertz; “The Wizard of Oz;” and “The Greatest Showman.”

“Come out and bring a chair or blanket and enjoy our concert in the park,” CCCB Publicity Johnny Deal said.
