The Camden Garden Club meets March 14 at Pine Grove Plantation, the home of Elizabeth Fort. This will be the club’s annual business meeting and also the election of new officers for the coming year. It will be a closed meeting so there will be no guests.
The speaker will be S. Charles Ruth with the S.C. Department of Natural Resources. His topic will be the environmental impact of coyotes in the state.
Each month members are encouraged to bring in arrangements and specimens from their home gardens to be judged. With Saint Patrick’s Day just around the corner, that is the suggestive theme. The judges this month are Di DuBose, chairman, with Arrington Walker and Flonnie West to help her.
With spring getting ready to burst forth, the yearbook has a long list of helpful hints and a checklist to make sure gardens are prepped and ready for the season.
The hostess chairman this month will be Diane Jones. Di DuBose and Patsy Topping will help her with refreshments after the program.
