Does your lawn need some TLC?  If you are interested in expanding your lawn care knowledge, register now for Lawn Care for the Homeowner workshop with Clemson Commercial Horticulture Agent Jackie Jordan. The class will be held tonight from 6 p.m. to 8:30 P.M at the Clemson Extension Homemakers Building at 632 West Dekalb Street in Camden and the cost will be $10.  Included topics will be soil health, choosing a grass variety, weeds, grass diseases, watering, and maintenance. 

Master Gardener, Patsy Turner, is continuing her free monthly talks at the Kershaw County Library Camden Branch.  Finding the Right Tree for Your Yard will be the topic Saturday and the Summer Series will begin  June 4 with All About Weeds.  Both are on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.. Did you know that Master Gardeners answer your gardening questions at the Clemson Extension each Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.? Bring in your troublesome weeds or sick plants for free research based advice. You may visit the office in person or call 803-432-9071.
