CRRC donation to the DAR
DAR web
Accepting the DAR check from CRRC treasurer Jonathan Bazinet (center, front row) was Brenda Sullivan (left), CRRC Director Paddy Bell (front row, right) and Jim Parrish, Dan Lovatt, Tony Scully and Debbie Bailey (back row from left to right) joined in the presentation made on the stairs of the old Robert Mills Courthouse in Camden.

The Camden Recreation Referendum Coalition (CRRC) made a $300 donation to the Hobkirk Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) on February 20.

The CRRC by-laws required that when the group dissolved its remaining funds were to be donated to support charitable and/or educational initiatives in the community. The DAR donation will be used to support a college-bound female whose interests are government, civics or political science.

The CRRC was founded in January 2012 based on the principle that governments exist of, by, and for the people.

The CRRC board considers it a great honor to support the DAR, and organization that reflects a mission of empowerment of the people through education. The CRRC is grateful to the citizens who supported the organization and made these donations possible.
