DAR Regent Ponza Vaughn, left, with Chaplain Joanne Fulda.

The annual DAR Scholarship Luncheon was held at Springdale Hall Country Club on March 10, 2016. The purpose of this luncheon is to raise money to provide scholarships for Kershaw County area students and one scholarship for the Tamassee DAR School in Tamassee, S.C.

Regent Ponza Vaughan welcomed guests to the luncheon and led the DAR Ritual. The blessing was rendered by Chaplain Joanne Fulda. Vice Regent Inis Gibbes introduced the speaker, Dr. Earl Bryant, who spoke on the topic of "The Pursuit of Happiness."

The scholarship presentation to recipients will be given at the May 12 DAR Meeting.
