Camden’s local chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. hosted its Fourth Annual Debutante Cotillion, Radiant Rubies: Refined and Ready to Conquer the World, on Saturday, May 18, at the Shrine Club in Camden. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. This year, the national sorority and its more than 250,000 initiated members, representing more than 900 chapters in the United States, Bahamas, Bermuda, Germany, Jamaica, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the U.S. Virgin Islands, is proud to celebrate 100 years of public service; academic excellence in education; community service; and participation in political and legislative processes.
