“A spirit of community unity is the message we continue to convey,” said Dionne Hough, chair of the Fine Arts Center’s Multi-cultural Committee, as she described a weekend of special events Feb. 19 and 20. Hough is one of many individuals who have worked to put together a celebration of culture with a special emphasis on Black History at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC). The weekend includes a display of student work examining the contributions of great Americans, a Gospel Fest and a showcase of local talent.
