The “girls” are hitting the beach in tonight and tomorrow’s production of the popular Fine Arts Follies! Through the miracles of make-up, some fine tuning in the wardrobe department and some “shifting of shape,” local business and professional men from across Kershaw County are “transformed” as they showcase their, er, talents, as the Camden Community Theatre (CCT) and the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County (FAC) present the return of the riotous Fine Arts Follies tonight and tomorrow evenings at 8 p.m. The production, directed by Bryant Herring and stage managed by Margaret Buckelew, showcases several numbers choreographed by Deanna Patterson-Cobb, of Patterson School of Dance, as well as one choreographed by FAC ballet instructor Judith Hawkesworth. The promotional image for this year’s production of the Fine Arts Follies was created by the popular political cartoonist, Robert Ariail.
