The Friends of the Kershaw County Library half-price book sale will be Saturday at the Burndale Shopping Center in the "old Piggly Wiggly Building" at 51 East DeKalb St. in Camden. The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This half-price sale of used and contributed books is a continuation of last week’s sale. There is a tremendous stock left with plenty of bargains. DVDs, CDs and an abundance of videotapes will be available. Kershaw County Library Friends’ tote bags will also be on sale.
"We haven’t had the sales we have had in the past and we have a very good selection of items for the half-price sale," said Anthony Hawkesworth, Friends Book Sale chairman.
The sale is a community-based event and all proceeds benefit the Kershaw County Public Library and its services to the community.
