Friends of the Library to kick off annual book sale in March

The Friends of the Kershaw County Library Annual Book Sale will be held at the Burndale Shopping Center in the Old Piggly Wiggly building on Jefferson Davis Highway in Camden. The sale will begin on Thursday, March 8, with “Friends’ Night” exclusively for members of Friends of the Library from 6 to 8 p.m. If you are not a member, you can purchase a membership at the door. The sale will be open to the public on Friday, March 9, from noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, March 11 from 1 to 5 p.m. “Half-price Sale Day” will be the following Saturday, March 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. “We have a great selection of books,” said Anthony Hawkesworth, book sale coordinator.
