The Price House Commission’s mission is to promote, research, preserve, interpret and disseminate information about African-American life, history and culture to Camden and the Kershaw County community.

Partnering with the Upton Trio on Feb. 2 will be vocal talent from local gospel singers Brook Grant, Dionne Hough, Fredosia Peoples, Sam Dennis, Margene Clinton, Gracie Adamson, Calvin Turner and Shirley Martin.

The singers will perform spirituals during the concert.

The introductory piece will be Tchaikovsky’s Trio in A minor which will proceed into the first spiritual for the evening, "He died on Calvary."

A pre-concert will be held in the Gallery at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County at 5:30 on Feb. 2. Light refreshments will be served.

The musical program will begin at 7 p.m.
