Over this past summer, Lugoff-Elgin High School had some major aesthetic outdoor improvements. A decorative walkway was added to get to the entrance door, flowers and grass were added in the front of the school, the awnings and doors were repainted and all of the parking lots got a fresh coat of paint. "The school board has allowed us to get about a half a million out of the reserves fund for projects like replacing HVAC units, painting, and parking lot cleaning and re-stripping," Executive Director for Operations Billy Smith said.
