It’s all part of Liberty Week in South Carolina, which will be held June 25 through June 30 and will highlight a number of places throughout the state significant to South Carolina’s Revolutionary War history. O’Shaughnessy, the Saunders Director of the Robert H. Smith International Center for Jefferson Studies at Monticello and a professor of history at the University of Virginia, will give a presentation based on his book "The Men Who Lost America: British Leadership, the American Revolution and the Fate of the Empire."
