Jackson class reunion cruise
Jackson cruise
Members and friends of the various Jackson High School Chapters throughout the United States attended their 2010 reunion on a Bermuda Cruise on the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas, Oct. 9 -14, which sailed out of Cape Liberty, Bayonne, N.J. Jackson High School Alumni Chapters are presently located in New Jersey, New York, Washington, D.C. and South Carolina. In 1867, through the efforts of Rev. B.F. Whittmore, a small frame school for Negroes was built on the Southwest public square generally known as Jackson School Grove. This structure was located between the corners of Lafayette Avenue, and DeKalb Street facing Campbell Street.
