James Gregory has enjoyed a long and successful career with his comedy but he will be the first to tell you this was the last thing he ever expected to happen in his life. He worked a number of jobs -- federal employee, teacher, sales representative -- until one fateful night in 1982. A new club called the Funny Bone had opened in Atlanta -- the very first comedy club in the Southeast -- and not only did the club have live comedy nearly every night, on Tuesday nights the Funny Bone hosted an open mike night.
