KCHS to feature author at October 25 meeting

An engaging author of a highly respected history of the American Revolution in the Carolinas will share stories at a meeting of the Kershaw County Historical Society (KCHS) Sunday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. in the South Building of the Kershaw County School District Office, 2029 W. DeKalb St., Camden.The meeting is open to the public, and guests will be welcomed. John "Jack" Buchanan, author of The Road to Guilford Court House: The American Revolution in the Carolinas, is also author of The Road to Valley Forge: How Washington Built the Army That Won the Revolution. He is completing his next book, on the winning of the Revolution, to be entitled The Road to Charleston.
