The Kershaw County Library Bookmobile rolled out an updated look just in time for National Bookmobile Day on April 13.

"This bookmobile has been proudly providing library services throughout the county since 1998, and has seen thousands of Kershaw County citizens walk through its doors," Library Director Amber Conger said. "The newly refreshed outside now reflects the energy and imagination carried within. We’re so happy to offer a more inviting space to encourage our community, especially our children, to be excited about reading and learning."

The Kershaw County Library Bookmobile carries a variety of books for all ages, with an emphasis on titles for children, as well as a small selection of books on audio and DVDs. Patrons are able to check out items, sign up for a library card, reserve items for pickup, and use WiFi. The bookmobile makes monthly scheduled stops throughout the county, provides books to children through visits to many summer camps, and appears at community events.

For a schedule of the bookmobile’s monthly stops see "Programs and Services" on the library’s website, www.kershawcountylibrary.org.
