KCMA to hold second choral clinic

Sonja Sepulveda, artistic director of the Winston-Salem Youth Chorus of the Piedmont Opera, will lead the Kershaw County Music Association’s second choral clinic on Nov. 2.

The Kershaw County Music Association announces its second Choral Clinic, set for Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Arts Center of Kershaw County, with a public concert to follow at 1 p.m. in the Wood Auditorium.

The clinician this year will be Sonja Sepulveda, who is the director of choral activities at Salem College in Winston-Salem, N.C. She is also artistic director of the Winston-Salem Youth Chorus of the Piedmont Opera and is Conductor-in-Residence of Mid America of Carnegie Hall and MidAM International.

Participating in the clinic will be Baron DeKalb, Bethune, Blaney, Camden, Doby’s Mill, Lugoff, Mt. Pisgah and Wateree elementary schools.

The public is invited to the concert at 1 p.m. in the Wood Auditorium of the Arts Center of Kershaw County.
