KCMG annual Garden Seminar is Saturday

The Kershaw County Master Gardeners will host their annual Garden Seminar Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the American Legion Building, 1333 Chestnut Ferry Road, Camden.

The seminar will feature five well known and very knowledgeable speakers, including Jackie Jordan, Area Consumer Horticulture Extension Agent and Master Gardener Coordinator for Richland, Kershaw, and Fairfield Counties; Austin Jenkins, PhD, who is an instructor of General and Environmental Biology at USC-Sumter; Powell Smith, PhD, a Clemson Extension Associate based in Lexington County; Liz Gilland, urban Forester for the City of Camden; and Amanda McNulty, Clemson Extension Horticulture Agent and Master Gardener Coordinator for Sumter and host of SCETV’s "Making it Grow."

Tickets to the event are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance; none will be available at the door the day of the event. Tickets are available online or at the Clemson Extension office.
