The Auxiliary of KershawHealth will host its 30th consecutive golf tournament on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Camden Country Club.
This year’s tournament features a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
Entry fees for the captain’s choice tournament are $75 per person or $300 four-man team. Fees include lunch, drinks, prizes, and two mulligans.
The first place team will receive a $500 cash prize. Additional prizes will be awarded for second and third place as well as closest to pin and longest in the fairway.
Proceeds from the tournament are applied to need-based scholarships for Kershaw County students who are pursuing careers in healthcare-related fields.
According to Auxiliary President Mary Clark, the organization will award more than $40,000 in financial aid to Kershaw County students seeking careers in the medical field in 2019.
The Auxiliary of KershawHealth is an independent nonprofit organization whose primary goal is improving the quality of healthcare in Kershaw County. All proceeds from fundraising projects such as the auxiliary gift shop, one-day sales, and the annual golf tournament are applied to need-based medical scholarships.
