New winter plantings have been completed at Camden’s public buildings. Garden maintenance volunteers for December are Michelle Herod and Carolyn Willens.

December garden tips:

1.     Move potted water plants to deeper water. Add a rubber ball to prevent freezing

2.     Continue fertilizing pansies

3.     Harvest collards, kale, and spinach after one or two frosts to improve flavor
