L-E student earns graphic design award

Karissa Tolliver, a junior at Lugoff-Elgin High School, earned a third place award for her graphic design in the Graphic Arts Education Reseach Foundation (GAERF) 2011 Student Design Competition. Karissa is a student at the Applied Technology Education Campus (ATEC) in Camden. The letter sent to Karissa upon receiving the award read, “The judges were impressed with the quality of the 225 entries, and it was a difficult task to choose only six winners.
