After a unit on the Holocaust, Lugoff-Elgin High School teacher Melissa Rabon and her English students visited Temple Sinai, a Holocaust museum in Sumter. Rabon and her students visited exhibitions about Jewish culture to learn more about the lives of men and women who practice Judaism before visiting the Holocaust exhibit.
