Local Claflin alum returns to participate with dinner theater

The local cast of “Park Lights” was invited to perform at Claflin University in Orangeburg. “Park Lights,” a one act comedy, directed by Camden native Clifton Harryton Anderson, will highlight the 10th Annual English and Language Arts Pedagogy Conference Dinner Theatre, to be held at 6 p.m. at Claflin University Wednesday, Oct. 26. Written by Hermine Suthie, the three-character play revolves around Sylvia Bayard, a teacher-turned playwright.
