Local USC honors student studies overseas in Italy

A University of South Carolina Honors College student from Kershaw County recently returned from a four-week Study Abroad in Italy (SAI) program. Elgin resident Jack Wood Jr. and other SAI students visited Historic landmarks in Rome, including The Colosseum and St. Peter’s Basilica. Next, the Tuscany region was explored as they traveled to Florence, where the students studied at the Florence University of the Arts.
