The God’s Helpers 13th annual Mother/Daughter Banquet will be Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Kershaw County Recreation Department.
This event will feature Reverend Brenda Rivers Robinson as its speaker. Robinson is health care supervisor at Chesco Services. She has worked as a registered nurse for 19 years.
God’s Helpers is a non-profit organization that works with senior citizens, at-risk teens and disabled individuals in Kershaw, Clarendon, Sumter and Lee counties.
Tickets are $10 for ages 12 and above. For children 11 and younger, tickets are $5. Dinner will be served at the event. The Mother/Daughter Banquet is God’s Helpers only paid event throughout the year and proceeds will benefit the groups’ charity efforts.
