The public is invited to a meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Lugoff Fire Department to hear about what Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) of Kershaw County are doing now and what they will be doing in the near future. MADD will be addressing the issues the group faces, available trainings for volunteers (Power of Parents, Court Monitoring, Impact Speakers, etc.), recruitment for volunteers in many areas, upcoming Victim Impact Panels, the Walk Like MADD event and how to become more involved in community events. Individuals interested in joining MADD do not have to be a victim or survivor.
