The Kershaw County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness has scheduled monthly education sessions through December at Grace Episcopal Church. The sessions, which are free and open to the public, will cover a variety of topics aimed at helping people who are living with mental illness. Each session begins at 7 p.m. The following sessions are currently scheduled: August 24, "Animal Companions Assisting Physical and Mental Health Challenges" led by Brenda Bishop, Rev. Soaring Blue Eagle.
