Orangeburg Councilwoman to speak in Camden fr Martin Luther King Day service

Dr. L. Zimmerman Keitt, a native of Camden and Orangeburg, an Orangeburg city councilwoman and the citys 2009 Citizen of the Year, will be the Martin Luther King Day speaker at Camden First United Methodist Church, 704 W. DeKalb St., in Camden, on Jan. 20 at 5 p.m.
Dr. L. Zimmerman Keitt will be the Martin Luther King Day speaker at Camden First United Methodist Church, 704 W. DeKalb St., in Camden, on Jan. 20 at 5 p.m. Keitt, a native of Camden and Orangeburg, is currently serving on Orangeburg’s city council. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Claflin University and earned a MED degree from South Carolina State University in 1974. She is a divorcee with two adult sons, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
